Your home's details

You can enter your home's details in a few different ways

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us about your home

The address, the size, the bedrooms and the condition: what an agency needs to get an idea of it.

  2. 2

Your request reaches the agencies in your area

Those in your municipality or, if there are none, in your province. You choose how you want them to contact you: email, phone call or WhatsApp.

  3. 3

    Receive their valuations and compare

Each agency gives you its valuation of the market price of your home. You compare, ask questions and decide whether to sell, and with whom.

Valuation, official appraisal and online calculator: what each one is

A valuation by an estate agency
The one you request here. It is done by a professional who knows the sales in your area, and it helps you decide what price to sell at. It is free and it is not an official document.
Official appraisal
It is signed by an appraisal company approved by the Bank of Spain, it has a cost and it is the one the bank asks for a mortgage. Valora tu Hogar does not carry out appraisals.
Online calculator
It gives you a figure instantly from statistics and listings, without seeing your home. It is useful as a first reference.

The differences, in more detail (in Spanish)

Why compare several valuations?

Each agency looks at your home through its own sales and its own way of working, and their figures need not match. Comparing helps you see which price comes up again and again, who backs it up best with real sales in your area and who you get on with. Ask each one what it bases its figure on, at what price it would put your home on the market and what it proposes to sell it.

Frequently asked questions about valuing your home

How much does it cost to value my home with Valora tu Hogar?

Nothing. The valuation is free and with no obligation: you do not have to sign anything or sell with any of the agencies that contact you.

Is it an official appraisal?

No. It is a valuation of the market price carried out by estate agencies. If you need an appraisal for a mortgage, it must be done by an appraisal company approved by the Bank of Spain.

Who values my home?

The estate agencies in your area that work with Valora tu Hogar: people who know the sales in your neighbourhood, not an algorithm.

Who receives my details?

Only the agencies that receive your request, so that they can contact you in the way you choose. You expressly accept this before sending it.

What happens if there are no agencies in my area?

If there are none in your municipality, your request goes to those in your province. If there are none there either, we tell you at that moment. We are adding agencies area by area.

How can I find out what my home is worth before requesting the valuation?

You can get an idea from the average price per square metre in your municipality published by official sources, such as the Ministry of Housing, the Spanish Notaries or the Land Registrars, and from listings of homes similar to yours. An agency valuation adds what those figures cannot see: your particular home and the real sales in your neighbourhood.
